A network of hydrometric and sampling stations has been established to monitor water quality in the project area.

Analyses conducted so far show that the majority of measured parameters are at low concentrations, below applicable environmental criteria. Some natural variations have been observed for certain parameters, which is normal in natural environments.

Water quality monitoring will continue in order to better understand the natural conditions of the site.
