Located east of Mont-Laurier in the Laurentians region. The property includes 28 mining claims and is situated near the historic Standard graphite deposit (mined between 1922 and 1935).
The area is recognized for its graphite potential, with several mineralized occurrences in favorable metamorphic rocks.
Exploration work
A geophysical survey totaling 179 km of lines was carried out on the property.
The work has made it possible to identify:
- 260 electromagnetic anomalies (TDEM)
- 65 moderate to severe conduction abnormalities
- 7 main trends correlated with magnetic data
Favorable potential for graphite mineralization.
Geological potential
The region is part of the Grenville Geological Province, known for the presence of graphite resulting from the transformation of ancient organic matter under the effect of pressure and temperature.
The identified geophysical anomalies (MAG and TDEM) suggest the presence of areas favorable to graphite mineralization.
Regional context
1,185 tonnes of graphite
9% to 22% graphite
