Located approximately 55 km north of Mont-Laurier, in the Laurentians region. The property comprises 69 mining claims and is accessible via a network of forest roads.
The project covers a favorable area composed of graphitic paragneiss and regional geological structures, with several graphite occurrences identified.
Exploration work
A geophysical survey totaling 372 km of lines was carried out on the property.
The work has made it possible to identify:
- 320 electromagnetic anomalies (TDEM)
- 24 moderate to severe conduction abnormalities
- 3 main trends associated with magnetic signatures
Contents reaching 11.6% of graphitic carbon (Cg) were observed.
Geological potential
The geophysical results indicate a correlation between magnetic (MAG) and electromagnetic (TDEM) anomalies, which may signal the presence of graphite and sulfides.
Some anomalies could also be associated with non-magnetic marbled rocks, known to contain graphite.
These results represent a first exploratory step, aimed at targeting the most promising areas for future work.
