In the 2025 environmental study, fauna and flora inventories made it possible to identify certain species at risk, that is to say animals or plants whose population is fragile or whose habitat is threatened, requiring protection measures.

Understanding threat levels
To protect biodiversity, we must first know which species are at risk. The IUCN Red List classifies species according to their risk of extinction. Species are generally considered “threatened” when they fall into one of these three categories:
Vulnerable
The species faces a high risk of extinction in the wild in the medium term. This is a first serious warning sign.
In danger (Threatened)
The risk of extinction is very high. The population has declined drastically or its habitat is extremely reduced.
Critically endangered
This is the final stage before extinction. The species faces an imminent risk of extinction in the wild.
