Paul Gill is involved in the strategy, planning and implementation of creating new businesses and restructuring organizations. He is currently the CEO of Lomiko Metals (TSXV: LMR), CEO of Lomiko Technologies, and a Director of Graphene ESD and Altair Ventures. Mr. Gill was instrumental in spearheading investment activities under Lomiko Technologies into Graphene 3D Lab (TSXV: GGG), a graphene and 3D printing company, Graphene ESD and Smart Home Devices Ltd, an electronics manufacturer and Promethieus Technologies Inc.
Until October 2006, Mr. Gill was heavily involved in the dynamic growth stage of Norsemont Mining, during which the company grew from a market capitalization of $1M to a buyout of $512M. During his tenure with Norsemont Mining, Mr. Gill was the vice-president of business development, as well as the director, president and CEO, chief financial officer, and corporate secretary. In 2011, Norsemont was bought by HudBay Minerals for $512 million.
Jacqueline Michael — Chief Financial Officer
Jacqueline Michael has over 20 years of financial and administrative experience. In 1988, Ms. Michael co-founded the Conac Group, a software development company for construction management, where she acted as president and CEO. In 1997, Ms. Michael was successful in taking the company public on the TSX Venture Exchange (formerly the CDNX) and helped raise over $5M in private placement financings. Ms. Michael has acted as the president and chief executive officer of public companies for over ten years.
Mike Petrina – Director, Project Manager
Mr. Petrina is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years of expertise in operations, engineering and project development. He is skilled at advancing open pit and underground projects whilst working responsibly with local stakeholders, First Nations communities and investors to maximize project value, and is experienced in managing large workforces or small technical teams.
Mr. Petrina has held executive roles for years with Adanac Molybdenum, Hawthorne Gold, MAG Silver and Probe Minerals, and his extensive experience with advanced-stage projects in the Pre-economic Assessment (PEA) stage will be extremely helpful as Lomiko proceeds with the La Loutre Project.
Gabriel Erdelyi – Director
Mr. Erdelyi studied Mechanical Engineering Technician Studies at George Brown College in 1994. He then entered the family business as a tool and die apprentice, but always held the same zest for entrepreneurship as his father who started the business. He eventually took over the family business and expanded from 3 people to over 20. In 2006 he was awarded the designation as one of the fastest-growing companies in Canada from Canadian Business Magazine. Mr. Erdelyi created Dieroll Metals Products Inc. based in Mississauga, Ontario in 2003, having purchased a stamping and roll forming company during difficult financial times. Dieroll Metal Products Inc. is an industry leader in roll forming production and stamping tooling for the metal processing industry. It serves a variety of industries including construction and building products, structural and architectural components, the roofing industry, heating and cooling components, the mining industry, the transportation sector including trucking and railway car components, and the automotive industry.
Gregg Jensen — Director
Mr. Jensen has over 25 years of experience in finance and business management spanning several industries from technology, mining, engineering, to professional services. Mr. Jensen is currently Managing Director of Ward Ventures. a private merchant bank that invests in early stage private and public companies. He has also served on several public and private boards and has held several executive roles. Mr. Jensen has led several companies through multiple capital raises and several M&A and joint venture transactions, and has a proven track record of turning around struggling companies.
Christoff Bruening – Advisor
Mr. Bruening is the principal of Value Relations GmBH, which currently provides investor relations services to the company. Mr. Bruening has extensive experience in the capital markets and financial media, with an emphasis on the German market. Mr. Bruening has listed over 500 companies on the Frankfurt Exchange and has helped over 100 Canadian companies to access the European markets. Christoph is fluent in both German and English and provides an important conduit to the German markets for Canadian companies. His experience and connections in a variety of industries is very important for the future growth of Lomiko Metals.
Julius Galik — Advisor
During the past 17 years, Mr. Galik has been instrumental in the development and financing of various small cap companies, both private and public. A businessman and a former financial advisor with PFSL Investments and WFG, Mr. Galik has been Mutual Fund Licensed since 2001. He brings with him a strong knowledge of finance, and a thorough understanding of the financial markets, security regulations and disclosure practices that impact public companies. A Director of Lomiko Metals since 2009, Mr. Galik has been involved in start-up situations within the mining exploration industry in Western Canada since 2002, and brings to the Board solid mediation and negotiation skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership, strategic planning and many years of financial experience.
Jason Gregg – Advisor
Mr. Gregg was most recently Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Alio Gold. He has more than 20 years of experience as a human resources professional and holds a BBA (1995) and an MBA (2000) from Simon Fraser University. Before Alio Gold, he was Vice President of HR, Safety and Environment for Newmarket Gold. Before joining Newmarket, he provided HR consulting services to various mining organizations as well as other industries including forestry and technology. Prior to developing his consulting practice, he worked as a Human Resources executive in the mining industry with Farallon Mining and Nyrstar. Mr. Gregg has also held senior-level human resource roles with HDI, International Forest Products, Canadian Forest Products, and Teck.
Dean Nawata – Strategic Advisor
Mr. Nawata is part of the team at 49 North, a resource investment company with a diversified portfolio of investments in junior and intermediate mineral and oil & gas exploration companies. He has been with 49 North for over 7 years providing project evaluation, business model development, corporate structuring and financial modeling. Dean has over 20 years of public market experience, 9 of which he spent as a licensed stockbroker focusing on financing of junior mining and oil/gas projects with BMO Nesbitt, Mackie Research Capital, and Raymond James. He has previously held senior management positions and sat on boards of several publicly traded resource companies. Dean is also currently a co-founder of Real Content Social Media and Vice President at InvestmentPitch Media, both private companies.
